Spray Ingredients

Black Pepper Extract

Black Pepper Extract is a standardised extract, prepared from the dried fruits of Piper nigrum (black pepper) and contains a minimum of 95% Piperine. It is clinically studied for its ability to enhance the bioavailability of the nutrients. Not only is it an anti-inflammatory and an antioxidant, but it is also recognised as a bioavailability enhancer. Piperine is also a molecule that inhibits certain enzymes that would normally attack other molecules.

Ginger

Ginger (Zingiber officinale) is a flowering plant whose rhizome, ginger root or ginger, is widely used for medicinal purposes. A certain element found in ginger, gingerol, may have antibacterial properties, to help support the treatment of gum disease.

Hops

Hops are the flowers (also called seed cones or strobiles) of the hop plant Humulus Iupulus, a member of the Cannabaceae family of flowering plants. In addition to water, cellulose, and various proteins, the chemical composition of hops consists of Alpha and Bea acids, Essential oils and flavonoids. The use of hops can be used for restlessness and insomnia.

New Zealand Bee Propolis

Propolis is a resinous mixture that honey bees produce by mixing saliva and beeswax with exudate gathered from tree buds, sap flows, or other botanical sources. It is used as a sealant for unwanted open spaces in the hive. Propolis is used for small gaps (approximately 6 millimetres (1⁄4 in) or less). When foraging, worker bees primarily harvest pollen and nectar, while also collecting water and plant resin necessary for the production of propolis.

New Zealand Mānuka Honey

Mānuka honey is a monofloral honey produced from the nectar of the mānuka tree, Leptospermum Scoparium. The word mānuka is the Māori name of the tree. Mānuka honey is produced by Apis mellifera bees foraging on the mānuka (Leptospermum scoparium). It grows uncultivated throughout New Zealand. Mānuka honey is markedly viscous. This property is due to the presence of colloid. Nectar from Mānuka produces a honey boasting unique medicinal and antibacterial qualities.

Totarol

Totarol is a naturally produced diterpene that is bioactive as Totarol and is only found in New Zealand. It has unique antimicrobial and therapeutic properties and can defend and defeat certain bacteria and fungi.
