ABOUT US

Our Purpose

Plantonin specialises in providing evidence based high quality products using ingredients from New Zealand's unique natural sustainable resources.

Plantonin was born from the need to help my mother that had reoccurring minor mobility joint discomfort. She was given conventional drugs that didn’t help. A product was formulated from natural health therapies that contained unique New Zealand ingredients. My mother started using this product and started to be relieved of her minor mobility joint discomfort. An accidental business was born from the need to help my mother. Plantonin now has grown offering products containing unique ingredients from one of the most unpolluted countries in the world - New Zealand. Its unique geographical location provides an oasis for which to grow the world's finest natural health ingredients.

Partnering with New Zealand’s best health manufacturers, all our products are a harmonious blend of nature's best ingredients and leading science, produced to the highest quality standards, in internationally recognised GMP, RMP and HACCP facilities.

We have an experienced team of Biomedical Scientists, Biochemists and Medical Herbalists with an extensive scientific knowledge and commitment to providing superior quality products to our customers.

Protecting our future

It is important to do more than just “talk the talk” of sustainability and eco-awareness, but to also “walk the walk” and make real changes in how we care for our planet. When you purchase a Plantonin product, you can feel good about buying from a company that ethically manufactures using environmentally responsible processes that are independently audited and verified. Plantonin uses plastic bottles that are made in New Zealand from 100% reusable packaging using Borouge Polypropylene (PP RE 420MO). Our plastic bottles are not only ISO 9001∶2015 and FDA EU accredited, but also Enviromark Gold Accredited and an Operation Clean Sweep partner (ensuring zero pallet, flake and powdered plastic enters our marine environment).

Plantonin also contributes to New Zealand Forest & Bird, a leading independent conservation organisation protecting wildlife and wild places, on land and in the sea around New Zealand. Plantonin has a special interest in protecting New Zealand's native birds.
